Rise of the Fallen Pt. 4

A crises? What could be happening?  Daniel was clearly distressed as though he seen his worst fear.

“We don't have time to talk, we need to get to Ponyville pronto.” said Daniel.

I wasn't going to argue, we traveled back to Ponyville.  Upon getting there I noticed a bunch of ponies were gathered.  Among them was Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight.  There were other ponies there too.  One was an orange earth pony with a light orange mane and a stetson hat, her cutie mark was three red apples.  There was a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane, her cutie mark was a rainbow colored lightning bolt coming from a white cloud.  There was a white unicorn with a purple mane, her cutie mark was three diamonds.  There was a white alicorn with a light blue, green and pink mane, her cutie mark was the sun.  There was a black alicorn with a long black mane, her cutie mark was a crescent moon.  The last pony I didn't know was a grey wall-eyed pegasus pony with a yellow mane, her cutie mark was a bunch of bubbles.  I asked Daniel what is happening.

“We are waiting for one more pony to get here.  For now, why not get to know someponies here.” said Daniel.

I started by greeting the orange earth pony.

“Well howdy there sugar cube, you must be Toxic Love.” said the earth pony.

I conformed that I am.

“The name's Apple Jack.” said the earth pony.

Some of the other ponies I didn't know came over.

“You can call me Rainbow Dash.” said the blue pegasus.

“I'm Rarity, pleasure to meet you darling.” said the white unicorn.

“Hi there, I'm Derpy.” said the grey pegasus.

The alicorns come over.

“Well now, I hear you have no memory.” said the white alicorn.

I nodded.

“Well, let me introduce myself, I'm Princess Celestia, and this is my sister, Princess Luna.  We are the rulers of Equestria.” said Celestia.

I was honored, I took a bow to them.  Luna nodded, she didn't seem to talkative.  She did seem scared but was trying to hide it.

“Well, it seems that you are acquainted, and here is out late friend.” said Daniel.

There was a hot air balloon coming in for a landing, in it was a silver unicorn with a golden mane, her cutie mark was a red puzzle piece.

“Sorry I'm late.” said the unicorn.

“Better late then never.” said Daniel.

I greeted the unicorn and introduced myself.

“Nice to meet you Toxic Love, my name is Stella.” said the unicorn.

“Stella, is that what I think it is?” asked Twilight.

“Stella, you got your cutie mark.” said Daniel.

Everypony gathered around Stella.  I was confused, they seemed joyful at her cutie mark for some reason.  Daniel comes over to me.

“Just so you know, Stella didn't get her cutie mark until recently, most ponies get it as a filly but she didn't get hers until adulthood.  She was sent on a trip here recently, she didn't get it during the trip but she gained an appreciation for them.” said Daniel.

I nodded, it seems like an accomplishment.  I asked what was happening.

“Oh yes, gather around everypony.” said Daniel.

Daniel, Twilight, Celestia, and Luna stood in front of the others.

“Listen everypony, we have a serious situation here.  Daniel, can you fill us in?” said Twilight

“You all may be wondering why I'm back two days before I was set to return.  The bounty was a fraud to lure me away from Ponyville for a while.” said Daniel.

“Indeed, it seems there is a cult looking to revive a rather dangerous pony.” said Twilight.

I asked about the robed ponies that attacked us in the Everfree Forest.

“Those were members of that cult.” said Daniel.

I asked why they wanted me alive so badly.

“I don't really know, if they need you then we should keep you safe.” said Daniel.

I was relieved.  I asked who the dangerous pony was.

“His name is Dark Side, an evil pony that wants to destroy the world.” said Celestia.

Luna was shacking a bit, she seemed scared.

“Princess Luna, don't forget you were already cursed once so it can't happen to you again.” said Daniel.

“I know but Daniel I could have killed you.” said Luna.

“But you didn't, and besides it's not like you were in control.” said Daniel.

This was confusing, what are they talking about and a pony that wanted to destroy the world, that was a scary thought.

“We need to warn the citizens.” said Rainbow Dash.

“No, if the citizens found out there will be mass panic.” said Daniel.

“Daniel's right, let's keep our situation on the low.” said Twilight.

“Now how in Equestria will we do that?” asked Apple Jack.

“I invited Trixie to do a show here, that will distract ponies and make things easier.” said Daniel.

I asked who Trixie is.

“You don't know the Great and Powerful Trixie?  How pitiful.” said an unknown pony.

Everypony looked around in confusion.  A burst of pink smoke appeared in front of me, when it cleared a blue unicorn was standing in front of me, her mane was light blue, she was wearing a purple hat and cape with blue and yellow stars.

“You really like to make an entrance don't you Trixie.” said Twilight.

“You are talking about the Great and Powerful Trixie after all.” said the unicorn.

“PST, Toxic Love, Trixie here like to talk in the third person so try not to be confused.” said Star Streak.

“Let me introduce myself to you little ignorant pony, I am The Great and Powerful Trixie, the greatest unicorn in all of Equestria.” said Trixie.

I was doubtful of her claim.  I decided not to question it since she seemed powerful.  I asked to see her magic.

“The Great and Powerful Trixie can give you a demo before the big show.” said Trixie.

Trixie started with some flashy fireworks, followed by a disappearing act, then made an object, a paper with her autograph on it, appear out of thin air.  I was impressed and I let her know.

“See, this pony knows talent when she sees it.  The Great and Powerful Trixie like this fan of hers and will give her a gift.” said Trixie.

Trixie hands me the autograph.  I thanked her.

“The great and Powerful Trixie appreciates her fans.  Now then I'll be going now, The Great and Powerful Trixie needs to get ready for the big show.” said Trixie.

Trixie disappeared into a puff of pink smoke, or so it seemed at first.  After the smoke cleared I saw her running away.

“What do we do in the meantime?” asked Stella.

“For now act normal and go about you usual business, Daniel and I will discus plans.” said Twilight.

I decided to ask Emerald if she had any plans.

“No I don't, why?” asked Emerald.

I asked if we could hang out, after all she is an old friend of mine.

“That would be great.” said Emerald.

We decided to go into the fields, it was empty, not a pony in sight except us.

“It's great to be with you again Toxic Love.” said Emerald.

I told her that even though I may not remember her it still feels good to be with her and it did.

We leaned against each other.  Emerald told me some stories about when I was human, from when I patched a cut on her leg to when she helped get some thrown out pizza from the box.  We looked at each other, we shared a strong past, if only I could remember it.  Suddenly our lips met, I was shocked but it felt good.  We embraced each other, I didn't care that we were both mares, the kiss felt right.  Is this love?
