A Rivals Revenge Pt. 7

Several months after learning I am set to have twins things have begun to change.  Star Streak got herself a coltfriend named Brandon, a [description goes here].  Brandon is cute and he's submissive, he does anything Star Streak tells him to do which usually means helping me.  Star Streak herself got more hours at work at the weather factory so she can't come as often she she wants to, at least her wound has finally healed.  Brandon did what I said too.  I made sure not to abuse this however.

Sharp Pencil is still single, if I wasn't fourteen years older than him I would scoop him up in a heart beat.  Sharp Pencil is pretty cute though and I hope he can find a special somepony.  I miss Sketch though, I got her mailing address from Sharp Pencil so we write but it's not the same.

I also met an interesting individual, the circumstances are complex but he was trapped in a cave and I helped free him.  His name is Ghostly Drake.  He seems shy though and keeps one of my blankets covering his body at all times.  I seen him and he's too complex to describe.  He has been getting me some vitamin potions to help me so I am grateful for Drake even if the potions taste a bit odd, I didn't say anything though.

Another friend I met was Noah, a grey earth pony with a light brown mane and a pi cutie mark.  He's a nice stallion who works hard and like cookies.  He delivers magical artifacts to various places so I decided to train him a bit in some martial arts to ensure he can defend against a thief since from what I hear, somepony tried to rob him already.

I also met a couple alicorns, Ashlee and Skull Killer.  Ashlee had a yellow body, brown mane, and an artists palette cutie mark.  She wears gold bracelets on each hoof and a black stetson hat.  Skull had a black body, black and white mane, and a skull cutie mark.  He wears white bracelets on each hoof.  I decided it's best not to ask about the latter name nor their royal ties.  They are friendly and willing to help me if I need it.

Another couple ponies I met are Locke Pick and Sweet Sapphire.  Locke Pick was a pegasus pony with a black body, blue mane, and a lock cutie mark.  Sapphire was a unicorn with a white body, blue mane and no cutie mark.  I met Locke well before Sapphire, pairing them here because they are a couple.  I taught Locke a lot about being a thief, the same stuff Quick Strike taught me.

Then there's the most important friend, Lavaliere.  She's a pegasus pony with a pink body, red mane, and no cutie mark.  She wears some accessories that I'm not sure as to what they are called.  She has what looks like chopsticks sticking out from behind her ear, a net around her front left hoof, and a net around her tail keeping it in a ball.

I met her in the market area while getting groceries.  I bought a lot and had trouble carrying it all.  Lavaliere helped me carry it all back and we talked.  We quickly became friends.  What's odd is that when I'm around her, or when I think of her, I get this odd feeling that I can't explain.  Whatever causes it I feel really good when I'm around her.  Am I in love?

I sighed, my baby bump is getting really big, just one more month until the big day.  Thinking about my newer friends as well as my old ones, Sharp Pencil, Sketch, Star Streak, Charity, Grace, Tequila Curls, and Orange Curls made me smile.

My stomach growled to remind me that I'm hungry and I haven't had breakfast yet.  I got up and walked to the kitchen.  My hoof steps were loud as frustration filled me.  Never get between a hungry pregnant mare and her food, you will regret it guaranteed.  I ate some fruit and felt relieved.  With my pregnancy I had to watch what I eat.  I made a memo to bury my face in chocolate cake after giving birth.  I chuckled at the thought.

It was another beautiful day.  The weather team has really done a nice job lately.  I sat down and massaged my belly, it felt nice considering there are a couple unborn foals inside it.  I heard a knock at the door and answered it.

“Hi Brandon.” I said.

“Hey Azure, Star Streak said I should come by and see if you need help with anything.” replied Brandon.

“I don't need much today, Charity and Grace done pretty much everything I really need.” I stated.

“Oh, so there's nothing I can do to help?” asked Brandon.

I thought for a moment, Brandon didn't like disobeying Star Streak.  I suddenly had an idea.

“Actually, there is something you can do.” I said.

“What is it?” asked Brandon.

“How do you know if you love somepony?” I asked.

Brandon was surprised by this question.

“Well, it's hard to explain but whenever you are around somepony you love you get this feeling that can’t be described.” answered Brandon.

“Does this feeling happen if you are not around the pony but are simply thinking about him or her?” I asked.

“Yes, it happens to me every time I think about Star Streak.” answered Brandon.

I felt relieved and joyful at hearing this, before I knew it I had Brandon in a tight hug.

“Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.” I joyfully said.

“Hey, it's no problem but can you let go?  I can't breath.” relied Brandon.

I complied and let Brandon go.

“Thank you Brandon, this really helps.” I said.

“You're welcome.” replied Brandon.

I cleaned myself up a bit.  I wanted to look my best.  I gathered my courage and walked outside my house.  Many ponies were outside talking, walking, playing, shopping, and everything a pony can think of.  I breathed in and out and walked to the market area.  I needed some vegetables for dinner.  I noticed a fairly new shop so I walked inside.

“Good afternoon miss.  My name is Green Marmalade and how can I help you today?” asked Green marmalade.

The shop keeper was a light purple earth pony with a green mane with a dark green stripe down the middle and her cutie mark is a jar of marmalade.

“Hello, I need some veges and what's that?” I asked.

“That's my marmalade, my best selling item here.” answered Green marmalade.

“How much?” I asked.

“Twenty bits, expensive I know but the quality is worth it.” answered Green Marmalade.

I thought about it for a moment, it sure looked tasty but twenty bits was expensive.

“Sorry, I can't.” I stated.

After making my purchases I went home.  After putting the veges in the fridge I sat down and thought about what Brandon said.  Getting up I wondered what to do.  Should I hope she bumps into me or should I go to her?

“How pathetic, I love a pony and I can't tell her.” I thought.

I decided that I have taken charge before and this will be no different.  I walked out the door, went to Lavalieres place and  knocked on the door.

“Hello?  Oh hi Azure.” greeted Lavaliere.

“Hi, um I need to say something.” I stated.

“Sure, what is it Azure?” asked Lavaliere.

“Well I... uh... um... well... I... uh...” I muttered.

Come on Azure, say it already.  I can do this.

“You OK?” asked Lavaliere.

“Yeah I just want to say that I... uh.” I said.

Lavaliere smiled.

“Maybe it will help if I said something first.” asked Lavaliere.

I nodded.

“Well, I have known you for a couple months and I really like you.” stated Lavaliere.

Hearing this boosted my confidence.

“I really like you too and I want to be your mare friend.” I stated.

We hugged, and I could swear I could feel my unborn foals jump for joy.  Our lips then met confirming that I am the luckiest mare in Ponyville.
