A Pony Tale Pt. 6
That evening Daniel went outside to get some fresh air.
"It's certainly a nice evening." thought Daniel.
"You can't sleep either Daniel?" asked a voice.
Derpy landed next to Daniel. Daniel shook his head.
"I have a lot on my mind." said Daniel.
"You're thinking about Luna right?" asked Derpy.
"Yeah." answered Daniel.
"Don't worry, she'll recover like the other ponys did." said Derpy.
"It's not that, when she was cursed she was closer to the pony that's behind all this than any of the others, she was that ponys general after all, she'll know stuff we didn't before and I intend to question her." said Daniel.
"Didn't Fluttershy know who that pony was?" asked Derpy.
"Fluttershy did know what his name is but was too scared to say it. Besides even if the other ponys we saved knew who he is Luna will certainly know more then they do." said Daniel.
Daniel looked at Derpy sitting next to him.
"You look stunning under the moonlight Derpy." said Daniel.
"T-thanks Daniel." said Derpy.
The two pegasi hugged.
"Good night Derpy." said Daniel.
"Good night Daniel." said Derpy.
The next morning the group gathered in front of the hospital, Luna requested to be treated there instead of in Canterlot so she can speak with the group as early as possible.
"I'll do my best to answer all your questions Daniel. First of all, our main enemies name is Dark Side, an ancient pony who wishes for nothing but destruction, he nearly destroyed Equestria 10,000 years ago, long before me, my sister and even Discord were even born. An ancient tribe discovered the Elements of Harmony and sealed away Dark Side." said Luna.
"If Dark Side was sealed away 10,000 years ago, how is he around now?" asked Daniel.
"The ancient tribe predicted that the seal would last 10,000 years and after that he will break free, the only way to seal him away again is to use the Elements of Harmony." answered Luna.
"So that explains why he was cursing ponys, when Spike mentioned the names of the kidnapped ponys I thought there may have been a pattern, it now makes sense, if the ponys connected to the elements are cursed they won't use them against Dark Side." said Daniel.
"Exactly, but there is something else that troubles me." said Luna.
"What is it?" asked Daniel.
"The ancient tribe also predicted that Dark Side will attempt to merge his body with that of a great and powerful ruler, and that if he succeeds he will become so powerful, even the Elements of Harmony will have no effect." said Luna.
"A great and powerful ruler, you don't mean Princess Celestia do you?" asked Daniel.
"I would assume so." answered Luna.
"And what would happen if Dark Side succeeded in merging with Princess Celestia?" asked Daniel.
"All hope would be lost." answered Luna.
Daniel turns to Spike.
"Any word on the location of Twilight and Rarity?" asked Daniel.
"No, sorry." answered Spike.
Spike suddenly looks like he'll be sick. He then belches and a letter appears.
"This is how Spike and Princess Celestia communicate, trust me I made that same face too when I saw it for the first time Daniel." whispered Apple jack.
Spike reads the letter,
Dear Daniel and friends,
I have your princess and intend to use her for my ritual, because I'm such a good sport I'll tell you where your last 2 friends are. They're in the Froggy Bottom Bogg.
-Dark Side
"Alright, Froggy Bottom Bogg here we come." said Rainbow Dash.
"Hold on a sec, this may be a trap, Dark Side may be trying to lead us astray while he finishes the ritual." said Daniel.
"What do we do then?" asked Apple Jack.
"Big Mac, keep an eye on the CMC, I don't want them getting into trouble again, got it you 3?" said Daniel.
The CMC were standing in the entrance of the hospital, they were in casts and covered in bandages due to their excessive injuries.
"Awww..." said the CMC in unison.
"You 3 are lucky to be alive after what you did." said Daniel.
"Eeyup." said Big Mac.
"Derpy, Rainbow Dash, and Apple Jack, you 3 come with me to the Froggy Bottom Bogg. Fluttershy, Pinkie, Trixie, and Luna stay here and keep an eye on the town." said Daniel.
"Got it." said everypony.
Latter in the Froggy Bottom Bogg.
"Well this place sure lives up to it's name." said Daniel.
"Eeyup." said Apple Jack.
"Rainbow Dash, fly up high and see if you can spot Twilight or Rarity." said Daniel.
"Got it." said Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash did as instructed, it didn't take her long to spot something at the other end of the swamp.
"There's Twilight." said Rainbow Dash.
The group ran across the swamp when Daniel suddenly stopped.
"Somethings coming, get ready." said Daniel.
BATTLE
Daniel HP: 350
Derpy HP: 325
Rainbow Dash HP: 325
Apple Jack HP: 400
VS.
Hydra HP: 750
Rainbow Dash flew up high.
Derpy kicks Hydra twice (-40 HP)(-40 HP 670 left)
Daniel charges Hydra (-75 HP 595 left)
Apple Jack kicks Hydra hard (-75 HP 530 left)
Hydra steps on Daniel (-80 HP 270 left)
Rainbow Dash comes down on Hydra with a Sonic Rainboom (-150 HP 380 left)
Derpy charges Hydra (-75 HP 305 left)
Daniel kicks Hydra twice (-40 HP)(-40 HP 225 left)
Apple Jack charges Hydra (-75 HP 150 left)
Hydra fled the fight.
"Why did it flee?" asked Derpy.
"Hydra is a predictor, predictors hunt prey not opponents, as soon as it realized we could fight it off it moved on." answered Daniel.
Meanwhile in Ponyville.
"The Great and Powerful Trixie is incredibly bored." said Trixie.
"Oatmeal? Are you crazy?" asked Pinkie.
"Nopony mentioned oatmeal Pinkie, what are you talking about?" asked Fluttershy.
"Oh, just confusing the readers." answered Pinkie.
"So much for my surprise attack." said a voice.
"Rarity, there you are." said Luna.
"She's cursed." said Pinkie.
The 4 ponys surrounded Rarity.
Back at the Froggy Bottom Bogg.
"You're not cursed." said Daniel.
"That's right." said Twilight.
"How, what, but." said Rainbow Dash.
"Let me explain, I, in my cursed state was sent here in Froggy Bottom Bogg, a couple minutes ago I went to see what's taking so long, fell in the swamp and bumped my head hard, when that happened was the picture I carry around if me and my friends fell out and I saw it, returning me to normal." said Twilight.
"Lucky for us, let's head back." said Daniel.
Latter in Ponyville.
"Hey guys we brought back, Rarity?!" said Rainbow Dash.
"No silly, you have Twilight, we have Rarity." said Pinkie.
"What's that?" asked Daniel.
Daniel pointed towards the Everfree Forest, towering above is a large fortress.
"The ritual has already begun." said Luna.
"Then we finish this, tonight." said Daniel.

Part 6 of A Pony Tale. The mane 6 are cured but can they stop Dark Side before it's too late? Pinkie Pie also breaks the 4th wall, did you really think I wouldn't have her do that?

"Oh, just confusing the readers." X3 Breaking the fourth wall, but the perfect character for it. XD Again, this feels slightly rushed as there are a few spelling errors, but otherwise, good story.
