A Pony Tale Pt. 4

The next morning Dan met up with Derpy and the 2 headed to the hospital.  When they got there Fluttershy was outside talking to Spike, Angel was there as well her fur apparently cleaned.  The groups exchanged greeting and Dan spoke up.

"Why did you attack us yesterday?" Dan demanded.

Dan was not happy about being attack by the pony he set out to save.  Fluttershy backed off, frightened she began to mutter.

"I can't hear you." said Dan.

Fluttershy whimpered.

"Stop it Dan." said Spike.

"Look I want to know what happened to make her attack." said Dan.

"She was cursed." said Spike.

"Cursed?" asked Dan.

"_Yes." answered Fluttershy.

"Can you explain?" asked Dan.

Fluttershy took a deep breath.

"_{You see, a dark force is cursing ponys, when cursed the pony loses control over themselves.}"  answered Fluttershy.

"So they become unwilling slaves?" asked Dan.

"_Yes." answered Fluttershy.

"Can you tell us anything else about the curse?" asked Dan.

"_{Yes, the cursed ponys have their manes and eyes turn blood red so the others know who to attack.  The cursed ponys also have their abilities enhanced beyond their normal capabilities making them difficult to defeat.  The only way to reverse this is to defeat them in a fight and have them look at somepony they care about.  Once the pony is cured he or she can never be cursed again.}" answered Fluttershy.

"I see, so when we beat you you turned back to normal because you care for Pinkie?" asked Dan.

"_Yes." answered Fluttershy.

"That dark pony must have a lot of power to do this."  said Dan.

"_{The dark pony is not responsible she is just another victim, only one pony can curse ponys like this.}" said Fluttershy.

"Who?" asked Dan.

Fluttershy began to whimper, after a few moments she cries.

"_{I can't say it, I'm sorry, just thinking about that name just makes me *sniff*.}" said Fluttershy.

Dan puts his hoof on Fluttershys back.

"There there now, it's ok." said Dan.

"What's our next move?" asked Derpy.

Dan realized he forgot to ask Spike about the new around town.

"Any news Spike?" asked Dan.

"Nope, sorry." answered Spike.

Suddenly a voice calls out.

"Are you the one whose saving ponys?" asked the voice.

Dan turned around, in front of him is a blue unicorn, she is wearing a purple pointed hat decorated with blue and yellow stars and a matching cape with a button shaped like a gemstone.

"Yes." answered Dan.

"Well The Great and Powerful Trixie knows where one of your friends is." said the unicorn.

"Cool, where is she?" asked Dan.

"What are you up to Trixie?" asked Spike.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie is not up to anything, I just want to help, that`s all." answered Trixie.

"And maybe restore you image after the incident with the ursa minor while you're at it?" asked Spike.

Trixie begins to get nervous.

"Well, uh..."

"Enough." said Dan.

Trixie breaths a sigh of relief.

"You said you know where one of the kidnapped ponys are, where is this pony?" asked Dan.

Trixie points to a mountain in the distance.

"See that mountain with the cave near the top?  I saw a pony carrying another pony up there." answered Trixie.

"Rainbow Dash and Pinkie.  Alright, let's go." said Dan.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie would like to accompany you to the mountain." said Trixie.

"Dan, Trixie is a fraud, her magic is just one big show.  She would only get in the way." said Spike.

"That's not true.  The Great and Powerful Trixie is the best magician in all of Equestria." said Trixie.

Dan was confused, he could sense that Trixie had powerful magic but what if Spike was right.

"Show me." said Dan.

"Very well." said Trixie.

Trixie starts doing a bunch of flashy magic tricks.  Dan was not convinced though.

"I can see you're talented at putting on a show but I need to know how much damage you can do." said Dan.

Trixie paused for a moment.  She charges up for a moment and hits a nearby tree with a burst of magic, knocking it down.

"See, The Great and Powerful Trixie can do damage with her magic." said Trixie.

"It also helped that the tree you knocked down was dead and beginning to rot." said Dan.

"See Dan, Trixie is a fraud." said Spike.

"However, your magic can do some damage it seems.  Lat's go." said Dan.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie complements you on your wise decision." said Trixie.

"You in Fluttershy?" asked Dan.

"_{Ok, I'll help.}" said Fluttershy.

Dan can tell Fluttershy is really nervous.

"Are you sure?" asked Dan.

"_Yes." said Fluttershy.

The group set out for the mountain.  Meanwhile at the base of another mountain.

"You sure there is a pony in this mountain?" asked Apple Bloom.

"Absolutely." said Scootaloo.

"Why are we here again?" asked Sweetie Belle.

"That guy won't let us help so we're finding a pony to save ourselves." answered Scootaloo.

They looked up at the mountain, the mountain has a cavern inside.

"Come on, lets go in." said Apple Bloom.

"What makes you think a pony needs saving in here anyway?: asked Sweetie Belle.

"What better place to hide somepony?" said Scootaloo.

"oooh..." said Sweetie Belle.

The CMC went into the cave in the mountainside.

"I wonder what a hero cutie mark would look like." said Apple Bloom.

"Maybe it'll be a pony in a cape." said Sweetie Belle.

The CMC continued into the cavern, after walking for hours the reach a large room.  Suddenly a voice calls out.

"So you have come to save your friend?" called the voice.

"That's right." said Apple Bloom.

"Than face me." called the voice.

Suddenly a giant spider appears.

Apple Bloom kicks Giant spider (-10 HP 40 left)
Scootaloo charges Giant spider (-5 HP 35 left)
Sweetie Belle charges Giant (-5 HP 30 left)
Giant spider bites Apple Bloom (-10 HP 15 left)
Apple Bloom kicks Giant spider (-10 HP 20 left)
Scootaloo charges Giant spider (-5 HP 15 left)
Sweetie Belle charges Giant spider (-5 HP 10 left)
Giant spider bites Scootaloo (-10 HP 10 left)
Apple Bloom kicks Giant spider (-10 HP KO)

The giant spider explodes.

"We did it." shouted Apple Bloom.

"Did you really think it would be that easy?" asked the voice.

"Hows this possible?  We just kicked your flank." said Scootaloo.

"The only flank you kicked was that of a weakling of a minion." said the voice.

"If you're so tough, show yourself and prove it." demanded Sweetie Belle.

"Very well." said the voice.

A large shadow looms over the CMC.

"No, but how, why?" asks Apple Bloom.

Meanwhile back with Dans group.

"And then I pounced on the thief and held him down, when the authorities arrived they took him away, and then my cutie mark appeared." said

Dan.

"Wow." said Derpy.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie wants to know how much farther it is." said Trixie.

"We're here." said Dan.

They were in front of a large cave at the peak of the mountain.

"_Hello?" said Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie appeared from the cave.  Pinkie was cursed her mane and eyes both were blood red.

"So you bunch made it I see" said Rainbow Dash.

"He he, I'm going to bake you into cupcakes." said Pinkie.

BATTLE

Derpy HP: 275
Fluttershy HP: 250
Trixie HP: 250

Cursed Rainbow Dash HP: 500
Cursed Pinkie HP: 450

Dan: focus fire, everypony takes the same target.
Cursed Rainbow Dash dashes by and kicks Dan from behind (-40 HP 260 left)
Derpy threw a stale muffin at Cursed Pinkie (-50 HP 400 left)
Dan kicks Cursed Pinkie twice (-30 HP)(-30 HP 340 left)
Trixie uses her magic to throw Cursed Pinkie at Cursed Rainbow Dash (both -40 Cursed Pinkie 300 left, Cursed Rainbow Dash 460 left)
Cursed Pinkie fires her party canon at Trixie (-50 HP 200 left)
Cursed Rainbow Dash charges Derpy (-40 HP 235 left)
Dan: I have an idea *whispers*
Fluttershy: _{Got it}.
Derpy: Got it.
Derpy and Fluttershy airlift Dan and toss him behind Cursed Pinkie, surrounding her they kick her all at once (-175 HP 25 left)
Trixie sends a burst of magic at Pinkie (-40 HP KO)
Rainbow Dash grabs a storm cloud and hits Fluttershy with a lightning bolt (-50 HP 200 left)
Fluttershy kicks Cursed Rainbow Dash (-40 HP)
Derpy kicks Cursed Rainbow Dash twice (-30 HP)(-30 HP 360 left)
Dan: When did you start kicking twice in one move like that?
Derpy: I've been watching you Dan.
Dan kicks Cursed Rainbow Dash twice (-30 HP)(-30 HP 300 left)
Trixie fires a burst of magic at Cursed Rainbow Dash but misses.
Cursed Rainbow Dash: Missed me.
The shot hits a stalactite which falls on Cursed Rainbow Dash (-200 HP 100 left)
Trixie: You were saying?
Cursed Rainbow Dash charges Trixie (-50 HP 150 left)
Fluttershy charges Cursed Rainbow Dash (-50 HP 50 left)
Derpy throws a stale muffin at Cursed Rainbow Dash (-50 HP KO)

The 2 pegasi return to normal and collapse.

"Let's take them back." said Dan.
