A Pony Story Pt. 1

A lone stallion walks along a path, he looks ahead and sees his destination, Ponyville.  His coat is a light brown and is very rough, his mane is black and cut short, just as he likes it.  He looks on the right side of his body and admires his wing, he only has one wing though, the left one was amputated when he was a filly leaving just a stump.  He was never a flier though so this doesn't bother him.  He looks up, judging from the sun, it's late afternoon,

"I really hope I get there before nightfall." the one winged pegasus thought.

On his flank is his cutie mark, a pair of shackles, he's a bounty hunter.  His thoughts are interrupted by a lightning bolt hitting the ground in front of him.

"My bad." yelled a voice from where the lightning came from.

As the one winged pegasus looks up he found himself face to face with a grey, wall eyed pegasus.

"I just don't know what went wrong." claimed the pegasus.

The one winged pegasus thought for a moment.

"Just be careful next time ok." he said.

"Ok, so What's your name anyway?" asked the wall eyed pegasus.

"Daniel, but everyone just calls me Dan." replied Dan.

"My name's Ditzy Doo but everyone just calls me Derpy." Said Derpy.

Derpy looks over at the stump that once was Dans left wing.

"What happened to your wing?" she asked.

"It was amputated, big accident." Dan replied.

"Oh, I see." replied Derpy.

"DERPY HOOVES GET BACK UP HERE!" yelled a voice.

"Uh oh, got to go Dan." said Derpy.

Dan watched as Derpy flew up to a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane.

"Sorry Rainbow Dash, I was talking to my new friend and..." said Derpy.

"When did I say you can talk to your friend?" Demanded Rainbow Dash.

"Sorry." Replied Derpy.

"Look Derpy, You already got fired from you last job as a letter carrier and your job before that as a mover, and already you're on your last chance with me, one more goof up and this'll be the third job you'll lose." said Rainbow Dash.

"Ok, Rainbow Dash." replied Derpy.

"Wow, she's got it rough." thought Dan.

As he walked away he heard a loud boom.  As he turned to look Derpy was flying towards him, crying.

"I'm a failure." cried Derpy.

Dan put his hoof on Derpys back

"Now, now, Derpy, you just need to find what you're good at." said Dan.

"I'm good at nothing. I'll forever be that feather brained twit that nopony cares about." cried Derpy.

"I care about you." replied Dan.

Dan, despite his rough appearance is a really nice stallion who cares for his friends, and it doesn't take much to be his friend.

"Really?" replied Derpy.

"Really." Replied Dan.

"Thank you Dan."  Replied Derpy as she hugged him.

"Listen Derpy, I need someone familiar with the area and if you're up to it can you help me out with something?" asked Dan.

"Anything." replied Derpy.

"I'm looking for this pony." said Dan.  He shows Derpy a sketch of a pony with a black coat and red mane.

"She's wanted by the law, I'm a bounty hunter." said Dan.

Derpy was confused,

"You hunt paper towels?" asked Derpy.

"No, no, a bounty is the reward for bringing in a wanted pony." answered Dan.

At this point Dan notices Rainbow Dash flying next to him.

"Just so you know good sir, Derpy has a habit of messing things up." she said.

Dan was not amused by this,

"Just so you know miss, I don't care." he said.

"Fine." replied Rainbow Dash and she flew away.

Later that evening, the duo arrived in Ponyville.

"Here we are." said Derpy,

"Ponyville, you know, I spend a lot of time here and..." said Derpy.

Suddenly a voice bellowed out.

"THERE YOU ARE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH FLUTTERSHY?"  Dan looks over only to realize that the voice was coming from a purple unicorn with stripes of different shades of purple in her mane, and she's talking to Dan.

"Well, where is she?" demanded the unicorn.

"I don't know what you're talking about, you have me confused with somepony else, who are you anyway?" said Dan.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle and if you're not going to tell me what you did with Fluttershy, I'll make you." replied the unicorn.

Derpy HP: 120

Twilight HP: 250

Derpy throws a stale Muffin at Twilight (-20 HP 130 left)
Dan kicks Twilight twice (-15 HP, -15 HP 200 left)
Twilight unleashes a shock wave that hits Dan and Derpy (-25 HP each 125 and 95 left)
Derpy kicks Twilight (-15 HP 185 left)
Dan charges at Twilight (-25 HP 160 left)
Twilight binds Derpy with magic (-30 HP 65 left, stun)
Derpy is stunned and can't move
Dan strikes Twilight with his wing (-25 HP 135 left)
Twilight fires a beam of magic at Dan (-25 HP 100 left)
Derpy is no longer stunned.
Dan Kicks Twilight twice (-15 HP, critical -30 HP 90 left)
Twilight charges Dan with her horn (-25 HP 75 left)

"STOP THE FIGHT." Yelled a voice.  A baby dragon ran up to Twilight,

"What do you want Spike? I'm trying to deal with the culprit here."

"That's not the right pony, I read the note wrong." replied Spike.

Twilight grabbed the note.

"Hey, it says the kidnapper has a black coat not a black mane."

She turns to Dan.

"I'm so sorry sir."

Dan smiles.

"It's not your fault Twilight, every pony makes mistakes, you were just fed the wrong info, that's all." Dan replied

"But, I..."

"No buts," Said Dan

"you made a mistake and said you're sorry. Anyway, I'm beat, is there an hotel nearby?"

"Down the road there and on the left, Good night, ummm..." Twilight replied

"Dan" said Dan.

Dan went to the hotel, Derpy went to her home and Twilight went to her home.
